Adrian Hope Silver Birch Resort and Campground.
In the Cree language of our ancestors “KIKINO” means “Our home” and we invite all to come to our home on Whitefish Lake and enjoy the beauty of the area. The resort is dedicated to the memory of Adrian Hope who is credited with reviving the movement for the betterment of Metis People in the province of Alberta. His first residence was log cabin on the shores of Whitefish Lake.
The Adrian Hope Silver Birch Resort is owned and operated by settlement members since 1988, and is located on the tranquil shores of Whitefish Lake and is a fitting legacy to Adrian Hope.
Cabins are fully equipped for year round enjoyment and overlook the sandy shores of the beach. With over 90 sites and 9 Cabin units we can accommodate families or groups for year round enjoyment. Miles of trails for hiking, biking, and bird watching or lots of shade for relaxation are waiting for you. Don’t miss the ever popular Rodeo in mid August, or take in some of the local attractions and events. We invite you to come and experience natural beauty and let the history of the area fill your senses and leave all your worries behind.

These activities are critical to increasing worldwide understanding of the Kikino Métis culture and people. The rodeo also allows for additional employment opportunities at the Silver Birch Resort and on the rodeo grounds.
